LeBron confused by Trae's ASG snub: 'Something is real fishy'
LeBron James has some questions about why Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young wasn't selected for the NBA All-Star Game.
James, who will captain the Western Conference All-Star squad at the Feb. 18 game in Indianapolis, addressed Young's snub on X, saying he thinks "something is real fishy" about the omission.
AGREED!!! I’m not quite understanding this! Cause it can’t be about Ws/Ls cause cats have definitely gotten in with wayyy nastier records in the past. He be cooking EVERY NIGHT! Stop it! He’s an All-⭐️ for sure. Something is REAL 🐠-E. 🤔

Young is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 27.1 points and 11 assists per game, which rank ninth and second, respectively, in the league. The Hawks are 21-27 this season and sit 10th in the Eastern Conference.
Although Young wasn't among the starters or reserve players announced for the 2024 All-Star Game, he could still be named as a replacement for Joel Embiid or Julius Randle, who are both injured and not expected to play in the contest.
Young has made two All-Star Game appearances, first in 2020 and again in 2022. James will be playing in an NBA-record 20th All-Star Game this year.
