Udonis Haslem has only appeared in one game for the Miami Heat during this year's playoffs, but he's still making history.

With the Heat's 103-84 win over the Boston Celtics on Monday night, the 42-year-old Haslem became the second-oldest player to advance to the NBA Finals after Robert Parish.

Parish set the record as part of the Chicago Bulls' 1996-97 championship team, though he didn't see any action in the Finals.

Haslem, who has spent his entire 20-year career in Miami, announced in March that he plans to retire at the end of the 2022-23 season "no matter what happens." This will be his seventh trip to the Finals and give him a chance at a fourth championship.

Game 1 of the Finals between the Heat and Nuggets is scheduled for Thursday in Denver.
