The Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan to sign cornerback Jamel Dean to a four-year, $52-million deal, sources told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.

Schultz added that Dean turned down more money from other clubs to remain with the Buccaneers.

Dean, 26, finished his 2022 campaign with a pair of interceptions, eight passes defensed, and 57 total tackles which was good enough for a 77.9 overall grade from PFF.

The 6-foot-1 cover man has seven interceptions and 41 passes defensed in 57 career games with Tampa Bay.
