UConn guard Azzi Fudd is expected to miss three-to-six weeks due to a right knee injury, the team announced.
The Huskies star suffered the ailment in the second quarter of Sunday's 74-60 defeat to Notre Dame, UConn's first loss of the season.
Fudd leads the Huskies in scoring, averaging 20.7 points on 53.3% shooting in seven contests this season.
Fudd is currently set to return no later than mid-January. UConn is scheduled to face only two current AP Top 25 opponents in that time frame.
