Report: Texans to sign Matt McGloin after Watson's injury
Reuters
The Houston Texans will sign quarterback Matt McGloin, a source told Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
The signing comes on the heels of rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson tearing his ACL on Thursday.
McGloin may be familiar with the Texans' offense, playing under head coach Bill O'Brien during their shared tenures at Penn State.
It's likely Tom Savage will take over as the team's starting quarterback. Savage started Week 1 but was pulled in favor of Watson.
