Cutler ruled out for TNF vs. Ravens
Steve Mitchell / USA TODAY Sports
The Miami Dolphins ruled quarterback Jay Cutler out for Thursday night's contest against the Baltimore Ravens, as he deals with multiple cracked ribs.
Cutler suffered the injury in a Week 7 game against the New York Jets and four days appears too short a time for the veteran to heal for the Week 8 matchup.
He was replaced in last week's contest by Matt Moore, who will presumably draw the start for the 4-2 Dolphins.
Miami signed David Fales to serve as Moore's backup while Cutler is out.
