Mayweather dominates Moore in exhibition bout
Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather showed out in his latest exhibition bout.
Mayweather dominated Don Moore over eight rounds Saturday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, though no official winner was declared because the fight wasn't sanctioned.
After four slow rounds, Mayweather increased his offense and came close to finishing Moore on multiple occasions in the second half of the fight. He teed off on Moore with a barrage of punches in Rounds 5 and 7 before putting him down in the eighth.
Mayweather showboated throughout the contest, dancing between the sixth and seventh rounds, sticking his tongue out at Moore, and keeping his hands low at times.
Afterward, Mayweather said he plans to stage another exhibition match in the United Arab Emirates later in 2022. He added an opponent is already in the works.
This was Mayweather's third exhibition fight since he retired from professional boxing in 2017 with a record of 50-0.
The former world champion was coming off a bout with Logan Paul last June that also went the distance.
