Suns GM confirms Bledsoe trade reports: 'He won't be with us going forward'

The sun is setting on Eric Bledsoe's run in Phoenix.

The Suns are engaged in trade talks with several teams involving their starting point guard and expect to find a deal, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The news emerged a day after Bledsoe tweeted he doesn't "wanna be here" and "liked" an Instagram post by Mehmet Okur who bashed the franchise.

General manager Ryan McDonough asked him about the tweet.

"He said he was at a hair salon ... I didn't believe that to be true," the executive said Monday, as quoted by ABC15 Sports. "He won't be with us going forward."

Bledsoe was sent home following a meeting with the club and won't be available moving forward, starting with Monday night's game against the Sacramento Kings.

The Suns fired head coach Earl Watson and members of his staff Sunday after the worst start in NBA history - losing three games by a total of 92 points. They named associate coach Jay Triano as the interim replacement.

There are a handful of teams that could use a talented floor general on a relatively cheap deal. Bledsoe averaged a career-high 21.1 points and 6.3 dimes last season and has $29.5 million over two years remaining on his contract.
