Limping to a 0-3 start without their full complement of players to begin the 2017-18 season, the Dallas Mavericks hope to have reinforcements on the way Monday night while welcoming in the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors.  Suffering a 107-91 defeat Saturday in Houston, the Mavericks dropped their third straight game to begin the '17-18 campaign after back-to-back losses at home. The Mavs will now attempt to raise their level of the play with the Warriors (1-2) set to invade American Airlines Center. And with first-round draft pick Dennis Smith Jr. upgraded to questionable after missing the last two outings due to left knee effusion, the Mavericks will try to bounce back in front of their hometown fans.
