Five-star prospect Mackenzie Mgbako verbally committed to Duke's 2023 recruiting class, he announced Friday, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello and Paul Biancardi.

Mgbako is the No. 3-ranked prospect on the 2023 ESPN 60.

He's the fifth five-star recruit to commit to the Blue Devils' class next year, joining Sean Stewart, Caleb Foster, Jared McCain, and Australian guard Tyrese Proctor, who committed to play for Jon Scheyer on Thursday.

Mgbako is a 6-foot-8 wing out of New Jersey with notable range. The high-school junior shows a lot of promise as a multi-faceted shooter who can also create issues for opponents with his size.

Mgbako reportedly picked Duke over finalists Kentucky, Ohio State, and Memphis.
