McGregor's spokesperson said the former two-division champion didn't "instigate this incident."
"He does not know Machine Gun Kelly, outside of the fact that he attended Conor's fight this past July," Karen Kessler told ESPN's Marc Raimondi in a statement.

McGregor last fought in July when he broke his leg during a trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, leading to a doctor's stoppage loss.
Since the fight, the Irishman has been spending time in Los Angeles - where he underwent surgery the following day - while rehabbing his leg. UFC president Dana White said he expects McGregor to be out of action for about a year.
McGregor attended the MTV Awards with his fiancee, Dee Devlin.
