The Las Vegas Raiders are signing free-agent wide receiver John Brown, a source told Sirius XM's Adam Caplan.

It's a one-year, $3.75-million contract that could be worth up to $5.5 million, Caplan adds.

Brown was released by the Buffalo Bills last week after two seasons.

The Raiders recently lost Nelson Agholor to the New England Patriots, and Brown is likely to fill his role as a deep threat out wide.

The speedy pass-catcher led Buffalo with a career-high 72 catches for 1,060 yards and six touchdowns in 2019 but appeared in just nines games due to injury last season. The 30-year-old finished 2020 with 33 catches for 458 yards and three scores.

Brown joins a young receiving group in Vegas, headlined by Henry Ruggs, Bryan Edwards, and Hunter Renfrow.
