Florida's Del Rio: Injury adversity won't 'change who I am'
Luke Del Rio's season came to a crashing halt Saturday as the Florida quarterback suffered a broken collarbone against Vanderbilt, but he isn't going to let the adversity change who he is.
Del Rio responded to well-wishers Sunday via Twitter, thanking everyone for the prayers and focusing his attention on responding to the injury.
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond. I'm not going to let my circumstances change who I am. Thank you everyone for the🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/goElB6OYIz

Del Rio's absence puts increased pressure on Florida's quarterback situation, which has scrambled to find production for much of the season. Freshman Feleipe Franks replaced Del Rio in Saturday's contest and he may be given the starting job next week with Malik Zaire also awaiting another opportunity.
