Travis Etienne ran his way into the ACC record books on Saturday.

Clemson's star running back became the conference's all-time leading rusher in a 34-28 win over Boston College.

Etienne moved past Ted Brown, who racked up 4,602 yards on the ground for North Carolina State from 1975-78.

Etienne broke the record on a first-down run late in the third quarter:

Earlier in the game, the 21-year-old also broke the NCAA record for most games with a touchdown (42) after taking a short first-quarter pass from D.J. Uiagalelei to the house. It was his 72nd career touchdown.

Uiagalelei started in place of Trevor Lawrence due to a COVID-19 diagnosis. The backup quarterback and Etienne led a comeback win to keep the Tigers perfect on the season.

The running back finished with 224 total yards (84 rushing, 140 receiving) and two touchdowns, while Uiagalelei threw for 342 yards and two scores and ran for another.
