Bantamweights Holly Holm and Irene Aldana will meet in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas on Aug. 1, sources told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

The card will also include Derek Brunson versus Edmen Shahbazyan in a middleweight encounter, Okamoto reports. The fight was initially slated to take place in Portland on April 11 but was derailed by COVID-19 concerns.

Holm and Aldana are both coming off wins, with the former defeating Raquel Pennington in January and the latter knocking out Ketlen Vieira a month earlier.

Holm (13-5) and Aldana (12-5) are the second- and fifth-ranked bantamweight contenders, respectively. The matchup could be one of the biggest in the division until 2021, as champion Amanda Nunes said after UFC 250 that she doesn't expect to fight again this year.
