Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon is standing by the comments he made in February about being done with the NBA Slam Dunk Contest for good.

Fresh off releasing a Dwyane Wade diss track about the event, Gordon confirmed Wednesday on ESPN's "First Take" he'll be focusing on reaching the playoffs.

"I don't think I'm gonna do it again, just because I've only been to the playoffs one time. We got gentleman swept, and that was the most exciting basketball that I’ve ever played," Gordon said. "That was the ultimate joy for me. So like, that's the focus, you know what I mean, to be in the big game and then to win for Orlando.

"It takes a lot of energy to do the dunk contest ... so yeah, I'm gonna shift my focus."

Gordon finished second to Zach LaVine in the 2016 dunk contest and had to settle for runner-up again this year after losing to Miami Heat forward Derrick Jones Jr.
