LaVar Ball has a bold new strategy to entice NBA and NFL players to sign endorsement deals with his apparel company, Big Baller Brand.

The father of New Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball and potential No. 1 overall NBA draft pick LaMelo Ball detailed his plan in an interview with TMZ Sports, saying he's prepared to offer athletes an ownership stake in their Big Baller Brand products.

"The guys that I want to be involved (with), I want them to believe in themselves," LaVar said. "So, I would give them 40% of the profit of what they make.

"You'll definitely hear about me in the next draft for the NBA and the NFL. I will approach these guys who gonna be the No. 1 and No. 2 picks, that people are gonna make the head of their franchise. So, I'm not going to give them the five-year, $10-million deal. Because everybody's like, 'Oh, he's passing up $10 million.' Like, nah, if you really believe in yourself and you're going to be the head of a franchise, you'd rather have ownership."

Big Baller Brand relaunched its online store in February after going offline for 10 months, though Lonzo and LaMelo are no longer featured on the website.
