Warning: Story contains coarse language

Despite the coronavirus pandemic shutting down much of the sports world, it was (mostly) business as usual for the UFC on Saturday night.

The promotion hosted an event in Brasilia, Brazil, with Charles Oliveira defeating Kevin Lee in the lightweight main event. But there was a catch: Due to the outbreak, fans were not allowed in the arena.

Almost all major sporting organizations suspended operations this week, including the NBA, NHL, and MLB, making UFC Brasilia one of the only sports events to still occur.

Fighters and a few coaches discussed on Twitter what it was like to watch a closed-door UFC event and whether it should've even happened.

Jokes aside, several fighters - including former UFC two-division champion Daniel Cormier - were happy that the promotion went ahead with its card in Brasilia.
