Cody Stamann doesn't think the judges made the right call in his UFC D.C. bout.

"Spartan" fought Song Yadong to a majority draw on Saturday's preliminary card, with the judges scoring the bout 29-27 for Stamann, 28-28, and 28-28. A point was taken away from Song in the first round due to an illegal knee.

"I think I got robbed. I think everyone knows I got robbed," Stamann said in a media scrum after the fight (via Cageside Press). "I mean, it's obvious. I obviously won that fight."

Stamann controlled Song with his wrestling throughout the contest, especially in the third round, but Song landed the bigger shots on the feet. 10 media members on MMADecisions.com scored the fight for Stamann, while four scored it a draw.

The 30-year-old believes that his underdog status could have had something to do with the judges' decision.

"I'm sure it doesn't help that he was a 2-1 favorite," Stamann said. "That's got to be one of the reasons that - everyone expects him to win, so when you expect someone else to win, maybe you don't look at the fight the same way."

Stamann appeared more upset about the money he won't receive due to the fight being a draw than whether his record states the bout was a win, draw, or loss.

Most UFC fighters get a win bonus - usually equal in value to the show money - if they emerge victorious from their fights.

"I fight to make money," Stamann said. "I don't give a shit. They can keep that a draw. They can put it as a loss. I don't give a shit. But I just want to make it right - give me my other check. Give me my other check and I don't care, I'll never talk about this again."

Stamann, who headed into UFC D.C. off a win, is 4-1 in the promotion overall.
