Free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown took to Instagram Live on Wednesday morning to update his followers on his situation - and ask for a favor.

"You guys (that) follow the Patriots, tell them to call me," he said during the stream. "They still gotta pay me so might as well let me earn it."

Brown recently filed grievances against both the New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders in an attempt to recoup much of the $61 million he believes he's still owed from contracts he signed with the teams.

To those that suggested the currently unemployed wideout could end up in the rebooted XFL, he said: "XFL? Never. Guys, that's not even in the question."

The 31-year-old said he's currently attending school, adding "the best receiver right now is at home in Miami."
