The PWHL handed out awards for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday. Here's who took home each individual honor to wrap up the league's second campaign.

Billie Jean King MVP

Montreal Victoire captain Marie-Philip Poulin won the league's top award over Renata Fast of the Toronto Sceptres and Hilary Knight of the Boston Fleet. Poulin led the league with 19 goals when no other skater had more than 15.

Forward of the Year

Poulin also topped Knight and New York Sirens rookie Sarah Fillier for her second accolade of the season. The Victoire icon was also nominated for the award in 2024.

Fast edged Sophie Jaques and Claire Thompson of the Minnesota Frost to cap off a dominant campaign on the blue line. The Sceptres star registered 22 points in 30 games and led all PWHL skaters in averaging 24:39 per contest.

Goaltender of the Year

Victoire netminder Ann-Renee Desbiens beat out the Fleet's Aerin Frankel and Ottawa Charge rookie Gwyneth Philips to be named top goalie. Desbiens posted a .932 save percentage and a 1.86 GAA en route to winning 15 of 19 appearances on the season.

Fillier took home the award after a dominant first campaign in which she tied the PWHL scoring lead with 29 points in 30 games. The Sirens drafted Fillier first overall in 2024. The other nominees included Philips and Jenn Gardiner, who spent last season with the Victoire but joined PWHL Vancouver after expansion.

Coach of the Year

Victoire bench boss Kori Cheverie earned this honor, beating out Carla MacLeod of the Charge and Troy Ryan of the Sceptres. Cheverie was also a finalist for the award last season but won the title in 2025 after the Victoire finished the campaign in first place by five points.
