Victoire add Roque from Sirens for O'Neill, 28th selection

The Montreal Victoire acquired forward Abby Roque from the New York Sirens for forward Kristin O'Neill and the 28th overall pick Friday.

Roque notched six goals and 17 points in 30 games last season and was one of New York's three foundational signings in 2023.

The 27-year-old is the first and only PWHL player to score a lacrosse goal. Roque represented the United States at the 2022 Olympics, and she won gold at the World Championship in 2023.

O'Neill struggled offensively with only one goal and five points in 2024-25. She totaled four goals and nine points in 23 contests the previous season after she was drafted seventh overall in 2023.

Despite her low offensive output, O'Neill made Team Canada's roster at the World Championship for the fifth straight year in April.
