Sarah Fillier of the New York Sirens, Jennifer Gardiner of the Montreal Victoire, and Gwyneth Philips of the Ottawa Charge have been voted finalists for this season's PWHL Rookie of the Year.

Fillier was the first overall pick in 2024. She lived up to the hype by finishing her debut campaign tied for the league lead with 29 points in 30 games. Her 16 assists matched a PWHL record, and she became the only player in league history to score in five consecutive contests.

Gardiner was a key contributor to the first-place Victoire. The former second-round pick ranked third in team scoring with 18 points, trailing only established veterans Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey.

Philips played a huge role in helping Ottawa clinch a playoff berth, winning eight of her 15 appearances with a .919 save percentage and 2.11 goals against average. She was one of three goalies to record multiple shutouts this season.

Minnesota Frost forward Grace Zumwinkle won the PWHL's inaugural Rookie of the Year award last season.
