Poulin plays Game 1 of Worlds after missing 3 PWHL contests
Marie-Philip Poulin was in the lineup for Canada's 4-1 win against Finland in the team's opening contest of the 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship.
The captain featured on the top line between Sarah Fillier and Brianne Jenner, often rotating with 13th forward Jamie Lee Rattray. Poulin played 12:10 and registered two shots on goal.

Poulin had missed PWHL Montreal's last three games with what's believed to be a knee injury, reports The Hockey News' Ian Kennedy. Montreal dropped two games in regulation and one in the shootout without the star in its ranks.
The 33-year-old has medaled 11 times at the Worlds, including three golds and seven silvers. Canada finished second to the United States at last year's event.
Poulin has racked up 33 goals - including four game-winners - and 73 points in 58 career games at the tournament.
She's chipped in with eight goals and 17 points in 16 PWHL games so far this campaign.
