VIDEO: Nothing going right for Justin Rose at Players Championship
Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports
Justin Rose didn't get off to the best start at the Players Championship on Thursday.
On his way to bogeying the fifth hole at TPC Sawgrass, Rose decided to vent some frustration by attempting to kick his golf bag into the water. Unfortunately - or fortunately - for Rose, the bag only moved a couple of feet.
Rose then took a swipe at the long grass lining the fifth hole, only to lose grip on his wedge, which his caddie Mike Fulcher had to retrieve.
Rose sits at 1-over par through seven holes.
