Ryder Cup Day 3: Reed gives USA first point on No. 18

The first U.S. point of Sunday's single matches came from undefeated rookie Patrick Reed going 3-0-1, as the USA trails Europe 12-7.
After shushing the crowd on No. 7, Reed fought back from a tough back nine and worked his way to a full point keeping the U.S. further away from elimination. He is only U.S. player to win his match Sunday morning after two Europe wins by Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell.
Martin Kaymer leads Bubba Watson 3-up through 15 holes, which should be another point on the board for Europe.
