The tee shot onto the par-3 island green on the 17th hole at TPC-Sawgrass is one of the most famous and difficult shots in all of golf.
On Wednesday afternoon the pros took a step back and let the men on the bag line up to take a shot at the 132-yard knee knocker at the annual Players Championship Caddy Competition.

The winning shot came from Shawn Stefani’s caddie Chris Callas at 7 feet, 8 inches from the hole. In addition to prize money, Callas will receive a VIP parking spot in the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse lot, and his name will be engraved on the official plaque in caddie hospitality.
Money from the competition went to the Bruce Edwards Foundation, named after the caddy for the legendary Tom Watson.
