Captain Jim Furyk is turning to the big guns on Saturday morning in hopes of reversing American fortunes after the visitors were swept 5-0 Friday in foursomes play.
The United States will send out Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa, and Xander Schauffele - the top-3 players on the team - in the opening two matches to set the tone at Royal Montreal for four-ball action.
Scheffler will pair with Morikawa against Adam Scott and Taylor Pendrith in the first game off the tee at 7:02 a.m. ET with Schauffele and Tony Finau getting the red-hot Canadian duo of Corey Conners and Mackenzie Hughes.
The final two matches will see Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim face Keegan Bradley and Wyndham Clark while Hideki Matsuyama and Sungjae Im face Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns. Matsuyama and Im are coming off a record-tying 7&6 win on Friday afternoon.
