International rookie Tom Kim put on a show for the ages Saturday at the Presidents Cup.

Highlighted by his winning putt on No. 18 to secure the International team's sixth point of the tournament, the 20-year-old South Korean was the man of the match during Saturday afternoon's four-ball session.

"I wanted that putt more than anything in the world," Kim said following his match, per the PGA TOUR.

The scene on No. 18 will likely be what most people remember when recounting Kim's performance at the 2022 Presidents Cup. Following that final putt, Kim threw off his hat and made a forceful fist pump before running toward his teammates to celebrate by the ropes.

But it wasn't just on the 18th hole where Kim made his mark on the Presidents Cup stage Saturday.

Kim's strong play started in the morning foursomes session when he and partner K.H. Lee clinched the International team's second point of the event with a 2&1 victory over world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns.

He continued that momentum Saturday afternoon, making four birdies and an eagle, including the 10-footer that won the Internationals the match. Fist pumps and exuberant celebrations quickly followed each putt.

"I was already thinking in the back of my mind, 'If this goes in, what am I going to do? How am I going to celebrate?'" said Kim about his winning putt at No. 18.

Cam Davis, playing in the final match alongside fellow Australian Adam Scott, also made a match-winning putt Saturday that helped close the International team's deficit with their seventh point.

The Internationals head into Sunday's singles matches trailing 11-7 to the Americans. Expect more lively reactions from Kim if he continues to roll in birdies and eagles Sunday when he takes on fan favorite Max Homa.

"In tournaments, I would never shout this loud or go this crazy," said Kim. "But I'm just trying to bring some good energy to the team."
