Shortly after finishing his remarkable comeback at the Masters on Sunday, Tiger Woods committed to play at another historic venue this summer.

Speaking with Sky Sports after his second consecutive 6-over 78 in the final round at Augusta, Woods laid out his plans to play in the Open Championship at St. Andrews but was non-committal on the rest of his schedule.

"I don't know if I will play Southern Hills or not, but I am looking forward to St. Andrews," Woods said. "That is something that is near and dear to my heart. I've won two opens there, and it's the home of golf. It's my favorite golf course in the world. I will be there for that one."

The PGA Championship begins in just over a month at Southern Hills in Oklahoma, a course Woods claimed a major title at in 2007.

While he didn't commit to the event, it appears he's ready to do all he can to make it in the field.

"I will try. There's no doubt," Woods said. "Like this week, I will try and get ready for Southern Hills, and we'll see what this body is able to do."

Woods didn't mention the U.S. Open, but he'll likely attempt to ramp up for that event as well, taking place at The Country Club from June 16-19.
