Abraham Ancer pulled out a narrow victory at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational on Sunday, beating Hideki Matsuyama and Sam Burns in a three-way playoff.
All three golfers finished at 16-under to force the playoff after impressive showings in the final round.

Bryson DeChambeau finished tied for eighth at 12-under after a late collapse. Harris English narrowly missed the playoff, finishing at 15-under after shooting a 73 in the final round.

The victory marks the first for Ancer on the PGA TOUR. He becomes just the fourth Mexican-born golfer to win on TOUR.
