Bryson DeChambeau played the first half of his final round at 2-under par to take a one-shot lead at the U.S. Open on Sunday.

The defending champion was inches away from a hole-in-one on No. 8 for his second birdie of the front nine. He has not made a bogey since Round 2 heading to the 10th tee at Torrey Pines.

Collin Morikawa, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, and Louis Oosthuizen were all within one shot of DeChambeau as the leader made the turn, setting the stage for an explosive finish in San Diego.

Russell Henley and Mackenzie Hughes, two of the three 54-hole co-leaders, are 2- and 3-over, respectively, for the day.
