K.H. Lee battles elements at Byron Nelson to earn 1st PGA TOUR win
Kyoung-Hoon Lee battled through heavy rain Sunday at the AT&T Byron Nelson to shoot a final-round 66 and win his first career PGA TOUR event by three shots.
The 29-year-old Korean began the day trailing Sam Burns by one stroke before quickly erasing the deficit with three birdies over his first four holes. He played the remaining 12 holes at 3-under par, a stretch that a nearly 2.5-hour weather delay disrupted.
Lee gave Burns life with his bogey on No. 16, decreasing his lead to two with two holes remaining. However, Lee ended all comeback hopes when he put his tee shot on the par-3 17th to within three feet before knocking in the birdie putt.
Lee, who fell in love with golf at the age of 13 while playing to lose weight, climbed to No. 59 in the world rankings and punched his ticket to next week's PGA Championship.

Jordan Spieth, who co-led the tournament after Round 1, shot 71 in his final round before heading to Kiawah Island to finish in a tie for ninth at 18-under.
Jon Rahm (13-under) and Bryson DeChambeau (10-under) finished outside the top 30.
