Reigning U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau withdrew from the upcoming RBC Heritage on Monday, according to WJCL News' Amy Zimmer.

No reason for the decision was provided. It comes after DeChambeau's tough weekend at the Masters, in which the 27-year-old posted an encouraging five-under round Friday before tallying back-to-back 75s to finish tied for 46th at Augusta National.

DeChambeau placed tied for eighth at last year's RBC Heritage.

The event won't name alternates until the number of competitors falls below 132, per Zimmer. After DeChambeau's exit, the field reportedly stands at 136.
