Phil Mickelson will put his perfect PGA Tour Champions record on the line, as he's set to play in next week's Dominion Energy Charity Classic in Richmond, Virginia.

The 50-year-old made his debut on the senior circuit at the end of August and won the Charles Schwab Series at Ozarks National by four strokes. He became the 20th player to win in their first start on the Champions Tour.

Lefty will be joined by Ernie Els and Jim Furyk at The Country Club of Virginia's James River Course for the 54-hole tournament starting Oct. 16.

Mickelson's commitment to the event means he won't compete for the CJ Cup on the PGA Tour at Shadow Creek, where he won $9 million in a head-to-head match versus Tiger Woods in November 2018.
