While 18 of the world's best golfers will play in a tournament in the Bahamas this week, it's essentially an off week for the PGA Tour, even for those playing in the Hero World Challenge.

Tiger Woods and friends are in the luxury resort community of Albany for the unofficial event. However, due to the caliber of players participating, the tournament awards 46 Official World Golf Ranking points to the winner, which is more than what's given on 16 PGA Tour stops.

The Hero World Challenge begins on Wednesday and ends on Saturday. The schedule shift allows for the majority of the field to head to Australia a day early and prepare for the Presidents Cup.

Wednesday's tee times feature five all-Presidents Cup pairings, which is perhaps a sign of things to come when the Americans tee it up at Royal Melbourne next week (All times ET).

10:51 a.m. - Kevin Kisner, Bubba Watson

The players will be regrouped based on the leaderboard after Round 1.
