Tiger Woods fired his second 6-under 64 of the week to hold a two-shot lead at the midway point of the Zozo Championship.

The 43-year-old didn't skip a beat after a typhoon canceled play for an entire day in Japan. He opened Saturday's round with a birdie on the first hole and made the turn at 1-under before kicking it into another gear.

He carded five more birdies en route to a back-nine 31 to pull away from Gary Woodland. Tiger sits at 12-under through 36 holes and in a great position to match Sam Snead's record of 82 PGA Tour victories.

Here's how the top of the leaderboard stands after Round 2:

Place Player To Par R2 Score
1 Tiger Woods -12 64
2 Gary Woodland -10 66
T3 Keegan Bradley -8 63
T3 Hideki Matsuyama -8 67
T5 Corey Conners -7 64
T5 Daniel Berger -7 66
T7 Xander Schauffele -6 66
T7 Matthew Wolff -6 65

Notables Rory McIlroy (3-under) and Justin Thomas (2-under) sit outside the top 15 after Round 2.

The third round is expected to begin at 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
