Brooks Koepka fired a final-round 65 to win the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational by three shots.

He entered Sunday one shot back of 54-hole leader Rory McIlroy but didn't trail for long. Carding three front-nine birdies at TPC Southwind while McIlroy managed none, Koepka took the lead and never looked back.

Koepka's bogey-free performance put him at 16-under for the week in Memphis, Tenn., sealing his seventh career PGA Tour victory and third of the 2018-2019 season.

Here's how the top of the leaderboard finished after Round 4:

Place Player To Par R4 Score
1 Brooks Koepka -16 65
2 Webb Simpson -13 64
3 Marc Leishman -12 67
T4 Tommy Fleetwood -11 66
T4 Matthew Fitzpatrick -11 69
T4 Rory McIlroy -11 71
7 Jon Rahm -10 69
8 Ian Poulter -9 69
T9 Bubba Watson -8 69
T9 Billy Horschel -8 70

McIlroy squandered a chance to claim his third win of the year; he made only one birdie playing alongside Koepka and dropped into a tie for fourth.

Webb Simpson shot a 6-under 64 to tie for the low round of the day, taking sole possession of second place with his stellar Sunday effort.

Justin Rose (7-under), Justin Thomas (6-under), and Jordan Spieth (6-under) all finished just outside the top 10. World No. 2 Dustin Johnson finished in a tie for 20th at 5-under while playing all four rounds under par.

The PGA Tour next heads to Greensboro, N.C., for the Wyndham Championship, the final event before the start of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
