Tiger Woods is headed overseas this fall.

The reigning Masters champion announced Wednesday he's committed to the inaugural Zozo Championship in Japan this October.

Fashion company ZOZO Inc. and the PGA Tour agreed to a six-year deal for the tournament in November. The event will be co-sanctioned by the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO) and will be part of the Tour's Asian swing to kick off the 2019-20 FedEx Cup season. The Pacific-based schedule also features the CJ Cup and WGC-HSBC Champions in China.

The field at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club will consist of 60 available players from this season's FedEx Cup list, 10 designated professionals from the JGTO, and eight special exemptions.

No matter who else plays in Japan, Woods will undoubtedly be the biggest name in the field.

Tiger's plans for the rest of the current season are unclear at this point. The 43-year-old is off to a hot start in 2019, capturing the 81st win and 15th major of his career at Augusta earlier this month.
