Tiger listed in featured groups for Players Championship
Despite no confirmation whether or not he will play in The Players Championship, Tiger Woods was announced as a member of the event's featured groups on Sunday.
Tiger is slated to play the first two rounds with reigning Masters winner Patrick Reed and defending Players champion Webb Simpson.

Three other featured groups were also announced:
- Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Brooks Koepka
- Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Matt Kuchar
- Justin Thomas, Xander Schauffele, Justin Rose
Mickelson said he would assess the course conditions before officially committing to the tournament earlier in the week. However, he tweeted a picture from TPC Sawgrass and favorably compared the rough to Augusta's, indicating he's going to tee it up at The Players Championship.
Shockingly, world No. 1 Dustin Johnson failed to crack the Players' featured groups.
