Tiger Woods carded a 1-over 72 in Round 4 of the Genesis Open to close out a grueling tournament where he played all 72 holes in only three days.

Woods was playing catch up all week after his first round was completely washed out due to rain. He was forced to resume Round 3 at 9:45 a.m. ET (6:45 a.m. local) at Riviera Country Club, where he would play 28 holes on Sunday.

"I definitely felt it today, energy dropped a little bit," Tiger said after his round.

He eagled his second hole Sunday and closed Round 3 with a 65. He picked up where he left off in his 4th round, climbing into the top five with three early final-round birdies, including a hole out from the bunker.

After making the turn, Tiger seemed to run out of steam. He bogeyed three of his first five holes on the back, sliding back down the leaderboard and ultimately finishing in a tie for 15th.

Woods is scheduled to play next week at the WGC - Mexico Championship.
