Justin Thomas will sleep on a 1-shot lead in the middle of Round 3 at the Genesis Open as darkness ended play Saturday for the third straight day.

Thomas opened his third round with an eagle on No. 1 to reach 13-under and pull ahead of Adam Scott, who he was in a tie with for most of the day.

Scott is alone in second at 12-under. He is playing alongside Thomas and will resume play in the middle of the third hole.

Patrick Rodgers (11-under), J.B. Holmes (11-under), and Michael Thompson (10-under) round out the top five.

Darkness was the only thing that was going to slow down Tiger Woods' third round. He played his first four holes at 5-under par to climb up the leaderboard after posting scores of 70 and 71 in his first two rounds, respectively. Woods currently sits in a tie for 14th.

Round 3 will resume Sunday at 9:45 a.m. ET
