Tiger Woods' health tends to be a discussion at the Hero World Challenge, as the event has marked his return to the game the previous two years.

Injuries were once again a focus on Thursday, as Woods was spotted walking gingerly at the Albany Golf Course.

"I've struggled with my ankles over the last few months. Still the same issues," Woods said after his first-round 73, according to Golf Channel's Rex Hoggard.

"They've just been sore for months, just wear and tear."

Woods currently sits near the bottom of the 18-man leaderboard in the Bahamas.

Tiger has dealt with foot issues before, as he tore his right Achilles tendon in 2008 and strained it in 2011.

Luckily, Woods will have a long break after this week, as the Hero World Challenge is the last event of 2018.
