With Tiger Woods' remarkable win at the Tour Championship capping off the 2017-18 PGA Tour season, nominees for the Player and Rookie of the Year awards were announced Monday.

Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas, Francesco Molinari, Justin Rose, and Dustin Johnson round out the long list of nominees in the running for the Jack Nicklaus award given to the player of the year. Koepka's two major titles likely make him the favorite to win the prize.

Aaron Wise, Austin Cook, Satoshi Kodaira, Joaquin Niemann, and Keith Mitchell are the nominees to claim 2018 Rookie of the Year honors. The first three listed all picked up a win in their debut season on Tour, but only Wise qualified for the Tour Championship.

The awards are determined by a member vote, with PGA Tour players who teed off in at least 15 FedEx Cup events during the 2017-18 season eligible to have a say. Voting closes Monday, Oct. 1, with winners to be announced at a later date.
