Abraham Ancer holds a one-shot lead after 54 holes of play at the Dell Technologies Championship after firing an impressive 6-under 65 in Round 3 on Sunday.

The 27-year-old Ancer (-13), who ranks 144th in the world golf rankings, birdied six of his first nine holes at TPC Boston to rocket up the leaderboard. He'll have to fend off plenty of big names Monday to claim his first PGA Tour win.

Bryson DeChambeau is among the group one shot back. He shot an 8-under 63 for the low round of the day. DeChambeau is in the hunt for his second straight win after taking down last week's The Northern Trust and would join Vijay Singh as the only two players to win the first two legs of the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Englishman and European Ryder Cup team member Tyrrell Hatton is also one shot back at 12-under. Hatton almost grabbed a share of the lead after nearly jarring in his wedge shot for eagle on the 18th.

Justin Rose and Cameron Smith round out the top five, both sitting two back at 11-under.

After taking last week's FedEx Cup event off for rest, Rory McIlroy finds himself four shots back at the conclusion of Round 3.

Notables Brooks Koepka (-7) and Dustin Johnson (-4) are well back and will need a miracle to get back into contention.

Tiger Woods posted a third-round 68 to sit in a tie for 16th, six shots back of Ancer.

Defending champion Justin Thomas is in a tie for 60th at 1-under.
