Bryson DeChambeau fired an impressive 8-under 63 in Round 3 of The Northern Trust - a near-perfect round of golf - to give him a four-shot lead heading into Sunday.

The 24-year-old, who missed out on automatically qualifying for the Ryder Cup by one spot, turned in his third straight round of gaining over two strokes with the flatstick to rank second in putting for the week.

He made a career-best nine birdies and will be looking for his second win on Tour this year.

The low round of the day belonged to Keegan Bradley, as his 9-under 62 ties the course record at Ridgewood Country Club. The former PGA Championship winner sits alone in second.

Tony Finau and Cameron Smith are tied for third at 11-under.

Jordan Spieth made the biggest leap on moving day, climbing 37 spots into a tie for seventh with his third-round 64.

World No. 1 Dustin Johnson and second-ranked Brooks Koepka struggled in Round 3, each shooting a 1-over 72.

After barely making the cut, Tiger Woods was one of the first pairings out Saturday and carded a bogey-free 68 despite struggling mightily with his putter. He enters Sunday 13 shots back.
