Tiger heavy favorite over Phil in $10M match after performance at Bellerive

Tiger Woods is listed as a heavy betting favorite over Phil Mickelson for their upcoming $10-million match after his incredible showing at the PGA Championship, according to the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.

Tiger is now given 5-9 (-180) odds to win the showdown, making him a substantial favorite over Mickelson, who has 3-2 (+150) odds of winning. When reports first surfaced about the head-to-head contest, Woods was listed at 13-10 (-130).

Mickelson confirmed the match will take place over the American Thanksgiving holiday, either Nov. 23 or 24, in Las Vegas, with reports indicating Shadow Creek Golf Course will host the event.

Mickelson missed the cut last week at Bellerive Country Club, which didn't help his cause on the betting market. He also hasn't finished inside the top 10 of an event since May.
