After an astounding run toward the lead at the Open Championship in July, it was going to be tough for Tiger Woods to have an encore performance this weekend at Bellerive.

However, he reminded the golfing world that he's the G.O.A.T for a reason, sending fans into a frenzy with a final-round 64 to finish in second behind Brooks Koepka at the PGA Championship.

It's the lowest final-round score in a major in Woods' historic career and served as the latest reminder that he's damn close to being back to top form.

Here are the top seven moments from Woods' incredible day.

The entrance

Always one to attract a crowd, Tiger showed up to Bellerive in style, striding to the clubhouse looking more ready to snipe his buddies in a paintball contest than hit the golf course. Twitter went wild over his arrival, with the 14-time major champion captivating the audience without hitting a shot.

The near-ace

The pre-round excitement only intensified on Woods' opening stretch, with a birdie on No. 2 getting his charge going. He followed that up with a dart on the par-3 third, stuffing his approach to a foot while the crowd went absolutely bonkers.

The recovery

Perhaps the most shocking thing about Woods' score on Sunday was the fact he was utterly helpless off the tee. The 42-year-old failed to hit a fairway on the front nine, going 0-for-7 in his attempts. So how the heck did he shoot 3-under on the opening stretch? By hitting absurd recovery shots such as this one on No. 9, which led to a birdie.

The swag

Tiger may not be as energetic in his 40s as he was in previous years, but he's still got endless swag when he needs it. A perfect example was the vintage putter raise as a birdie on No. 13 fell into the hole to bring him within one stroke of the lead.

The dart

He may have shown up like a paintball sniper on Sunday, but the only sniping Woods ended up doing was at every single flagstick around Bellerive. Needing as many birdies down the stretch as possible, Woods absolutely flagged his approach on the difficult 15th, coming within inches of an eagle that would've brought the house down.

The finish

Woods walked up the 18th knowing he'd run out of holes to catch Koepka, but the man had one more moment of brilliance to please the raucous crowd. A closing birdie with an emphatic fist pump to post a 72-hole total of 266 did it, his lowest-ever score in a major.

The walk off
