DJ, Koepka headline loaded qualifiers for United States Ryder Cup team
With the conclusion of the PGA Championship on Sunday, the first eight spots on the United States Ryder Cup team were finalized based on points earned over the last two PGA Tour seasons.
PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka leads the group of eight headed to Paris. Webb Simpson claimed the last automatic bid with his tied-for-19th finish at Bellerive.
Here are the top-eight golfers who qualified.

2. Dustin Johnson
3. Justin Thomas
4. Patrick Reed
5. Bubba Watson
6. Jordan Spieth
7. Rickie Fowler
8. Webb Simpson
Team Captain Jim Furyk will make four additional selections to round out the team, with names like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Tony Finau all needing to be picked in order to make the trip overseas.
The 2018 Ryder Cup will begin Sept. 25 at Le Golf National in Paris, France.
