Mackenzie Hughes ended up as the low Canuck at the Canadian Open on Sunday, as his 15-under final score saw him finish tied for eighth.

The Dundas, Ontario, native shot 4-under during his final round to lock up the low-Canadian honors for the second consecutive year. It was also Hughes' third top-20 finish in his last four starts.

Ryan Yip from the Web.com Tour was the next best Canadian, finishing at 11-under in a tie for 22nd.

Chris Crisologo, the only amateur to make the cut, capped off his Canadian Open with a 3-under 69 to finish tied for 45th. Overall, seven of the 21 Canadians in the field at Glen Abbey made the cut.

The last Canadian to win their national open was Pat Fletcher in 1954.
